Zombies Through Subcultures:
For her Final Major Project at University, Charlotte wanted to showcase her creative skills and direction through the use of an imagery based project.
She was inspired by the fictional character of Zombies, as well as the fashion, makeup and hair styles of five subcultures from the 1920s-1990s. Charlotte wanted to create zombie characterisations linked with each subculture whilst investigating the different types of zombie makeup techniques through film and media from the 1930s to present day.

Flapper in the Voodoo zombie style, inspired by 20s-30s films, such as White Zombie.

Punk in the Rabid zombie style, inspired by the film 28 Days Later.

Raver in the Viral zombie style, influenced by the Resident Evil video game.

Hippie in the Z zombie style, inspired by the film World War Z.

Skinhead in the Walker zombie style, influenced by the present day popular tv programme, The Walking Dead.
